A station, not a playlist

What we do

Stars Over Texas TV is a 24-hour music video channel built around one scene: Texas Red Dirt and Texas country. It has been on the air since 2021, it runs as a free app on Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV, and it streams live on this site. The registered mark on our logo reads Texas Red Dirt Music TV, which is about as literal a description as a channel can have.

What we play

Music videos, concert footage and live sessions from the artists actually working in this scene, organised into strands — Texas, Red Dirt, Americana, Top 10, New, Concerts and Shows, and a seasonal holiday block. The strand list on the watch page is generated from what is genuinely in rotation, so it changes as the programming does.

Why a channel and not a playlist

Playlists ask you to choose. A channel just plays. There is a reason dance halls do not hand out a menu at the door — sometimes the point is to walk in and let the room decide. The live feed runs all day for exactly that, and the on-demand library is there for when you do want to choose.

There is no subscription, no account and no paywall on any platform. If you can open the app or this page, you can watch everything.
